The karst peaks are the first thing you notice when you get to Guangxi. From Guilin (桂林) and down the winding Li River (漓江) to Yangshuo (阳朔). Up in the North the scenery could not be more different. Walking along the paths around LongJi rice terraces (龙脊梯田), terraced rice patties going up the side of the mountains.
